Ministry to Young Men & Women
We have tried many things and methods to minister to young people. We do not have a youth pastor and find it better to not have a conventional youth group, at least one designed around activities. We have had some success in having young men and women who have an interest in the Lord, His Word, and His work participate in the work with those leading in it. This demands of that young person a genuine interest for the Lord, not just a social outlet. Friendships are wonderful, but in church life, friendships need to come as a result of fellowship and service to the Lord. We are presently planning to take a few young men and women to southern Mexico to spend time with brethren laboring in the Lord's work in that part of the world. Notice below several aspects of ministry already functioning as a result of the involvement of committed young people.
