Ministry to Children
Presently we have no Sunday School or kids clubs as we would know them. We have begun an annual Daily Vacation Bible School. Our reason for no Sunday School in the conventional sense is primarily to stress and "force" the parents to train up their children in the ways of the Lord. We believe it is better this way, although at times we do collective things for the children, e.g. a special sermon for them, etc. We may possibly start a Sunday School in the future, but it would be designed for the children in the area who are unchurched and need the Gospel - the original intent. To the degree children (ages 12 and under especially) want to grow in the Lord, have personal training, and participate in the Lord's work, we try to have that develop through the parents' leadership in the lives of their own children.We also have available for visiting children young men and women who will either baby sit them during the morning service, or, if older, teach them songs and Bible truths.
