Dan Stanley

Dan Stanley was raised in a Christian home but early in life chose to reject his parents' faith. At age 20 he was saved at a New Year's Eve party. He was discipled by his pastor, Med Wry. Then he attended Bob Jones University and graduated from Central Seminary in Minneapolis. Following graduation, he started and pastored a Baptist church in Durand, WI before moving to Eau Claire to start the Gospel Center in the early 1990's.
Curt Laughlin
Elder / Pastor

Curt Laughlin was involved in computer technology when the Lord saved him. He joined the Gospel Center in 1992 when it met weekly in homes. In 2002 he was ordained to share the pastoring duties with Dan Stanley along with running his own business.
Randy Anderson
Deacon
Contact Randy
Randy Anderson was saved from a party lifestyle and God directed him and his family to the Gospel Center. He is a farmer and a deacon in the church.
Chad McFarlin
Deacon
Contact Chad
Chad McFarlin was saved from a wasted life and discipled in the church when he joined in 1993. He is a business owner, husband, and father.
Jim Swanson
Director of Bible Training School
Contact Jim
Jim Swanson graduated from Lawrence University in 1967. He then attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary in 1973. Since then he has taught in Christian schools in Tennessee and Ontario, has pastored two rural churches for 13 years, was a tech specialist for a school district in Arizona, and presently is self-employed. Jim is in charge of the Bible Training School held Thursday evenings during the school year.
Jerry Hanson

Jerry Hanson served his country in the military for four years. Then he served as an assistant pastor, pastor, and church planter for 9 years. He is presently a business owner and head of the music ministry at the church.
Travis Buhler
Librarian

Travis Buhler has been a member of the Eau Claire Gospel center since 1999 and is currently in charge of the book room and the library. Travis is a regular teacher at the Eau Claire Bible Training during the school year, centering his classes around areas dealing with history.
Casey Buck
Director of Printing

Casey Buck graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stout with a major in applied math and computer science and a minor in graphic design. She presently heads up booklet and tract design and literature printing.
Matt and Julia Larson
Recording Ministry
Contact Matt & Julia
Matt and Julia Larson are in charge of the recording ministry of the church. This involves audio recordings of the regular services as well as the Bible training. Matt is an expert fisherman, a hobby he enjoys whenever he has time. Julia runs a book binding business out of their home, and also plays the piano for some of the services. They were married in January of 2008.
